Beautiful, glowing skin deserves daily attention. Remember to follow the recommendations for your Skin Care during holidays, in cold weather. Your skin will be softer, suppler, and more radiant!
Take care of Your Skin
1-Protect my skin from the Sun
To preserve the health of your skin, do not expose yourself to the sun without protection. Apply a sun cream with a factor adapted to your skin type. And reapply very regularly. It is also advisable to stay in the shade during the hottest hours of the day.
2-Gentle soaps-free Products
Does your body’s skin tend to dry out, especially after showering? Make sure you choose gentle, soap-free products for your cleansing routine. If they are too harsh, they can cause very uncomfortable skin dryness. Preferably: super fatted soaps.
3-A shower, rather than a bath
Prefer showers to baths. That way, your skin will be less dehydrated. Also, set the water to the right temperature: lukewarm, rather than hot. For those who like to take a bath, occasionally, it’s okay. But don’t stay in it too long!
4-Practice the art of dabbing
Before getting out of the shower, rinse your body thoroughly to remove all traces of cleanser. Then, quickly dry your skin by dabbing the towel on your legs, chest, arms… Don’t do wipe vigorously or rub.
5-Adopt the hydration reflex
Here is a reflex to adopt every day. After you have gently dabbed yourself with the towel, don’t forget to moisturize your skin with a suitable cream. This will restore the hydrolipidic film of your epidermis. Remember that all skin types need to be moisturized.
6-Cover up in cold weather
Have you noticed that your skin becomes particularly sensitive in winter? With the cold, but also the wind and the sun, the skin dries out, it feels tight and tingly. Remember to wrap yourself up as soon as the temperature drops. Don’t forget your hands.
To maintain your skin, your body needs to be well hydrated. So, make sure you drink enough – about 1.5 liters a day. A glass of water as soon as you wake up, tea for breakfast, mineral water during the day, herbal tea in the evening. In this way, you meet your daily water needs.
8-Eat healthily and balanced
A healthy, balanced diet benefits your whole body, including your skin. Eating five antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables every day keeps your skin beautiful and healthy.
9-Get a good night’s sleep
Get enough sleep, and your skin will breathe healthily! To respect your body’s needs, don’t shorten the amount of sleep you need. 7, 8, 9 hours… this necessary rest time is written in our genes.
Do you smoke? You should know that tobacco is not a friend to your skin. It dulls it and accelerates its aging. A good argument for putting out your last cigarette, don’t’ you think?
